Asia Pacific’s largest ground transport comparison site, VroomVroomVroom.com.au, will power a new online car rental booking engine for Newcastle Airport.

The partnership will enable visitors to newcastleairport.com.au to easily compare and book car rental at the airport.

As the second global gateway into New South Wales, Newcastle Airport welcomed a record 1.272 million passengers in FY2018 and is serviced by five airlines connecting to nine direct domestic destinations and, from November 2018 to February 2019, internationally to Auckland, New Zealand.

VroomVroomVroom Partnerships Manager, Jordan Hooper, said that the company is delighted to work with Newcastle Airport to provide passengers with an easy online tool to compare and book rental cars.

“We are pleased to partner with one of Australia’s leading airports and provide world-leading technology that allows visitors to their website to compare prices and book car hire as a part of their travel experience,” he said.

Newcastle Airport Executive Manager Property and Commercial, John Finn, said the VroomVroomVroom online booking interface will provide enhanced customer experience to the 1.272 million passengers who travel through the Airport each year.

“The total number of passengers who rented a car from Newcastle Airport rose 6.7% on the previous year, which is a testament to customer satisfaction with the quality of the offering at the Airport. Our partnership with VroomVroomVroom is another important step in ensuring passengers have the most enjoyable and seamless travel experience, as we strive in our vision to deliver the Airport the region deserves,” added John.

VroomVroomVroom.com.au is the Asia Pacific Region’s largest car rental comparison site. Its B2B division (V2Btravel.com) supplies booking technology to a diverse range of site partners including Tigerair.com.au, Perth Airport, Stayz, ANZ Staff Club and Woolworths Plus Club.
